"Amazing views, very clean, well looked after. Super Host. Great combinations." Nigel, Emsworth UK, May 2022.

"The Boat House is both charming and cosy. Great location and as a wild swimmer I loved having swimming on the doorstep. The children spent hours playing on the small beach, Would recommend." Sarah, England, April 2022.

"Great place to stay, would definitely consider coming back. We used to live in the area, so it was a good location for visiting friends. The dogs loved having direct access to the beach. Would definitely recommend this place!" Mariska Stevenson,  Helmond, Netherlands, March 2020

The Boat House is literally on the water's edge, and you can watch all the seabirds (binoculars in the house) and ships and boats coming to and fro. Just 5 miles from Belfast - you can see the H&W famous cranes from your windows - it's an easy bus trip in to the city. We loved our day in Belfast, visiting the City Hall (stunning) a pub lunch and a wee dram at The Garrick, and an incredible walking tour. Also had a day at The Giant's Causeway, oh my goodness you have to go! Breathtaking ... and just over an hour's drive away ... and of course we did a tour and a tasting at Bushmills. Our third day was a trip to Derry (approx 1.5hrs drive) and well worth it, as it is a compact city, packed with history. On our final day, we took it very easy, walked along the shore for a few minutes to cafe Sozo for a delicious fried breakfast before heading back to the airport. In between all our touring, we came home to the cosy little Boat House, always warm and equipped with everything you need. Carol was amazing at keeping in touch and making sure all was well with us. I'd very much hope to come again!Lesley Phillips, February 2020,  Faringdon, United Kingdom.
