A car is not essential as there is a bus stop right outside the Coastguard Boat House's private entrance and a train station which can take you to the City Centre is only a 5 minute walk.

Larne Ferry port is only 20 minutes away and Belfast Ferry port is ten minutes.

The Coastguard Boat House on Belfast Lough is located at the start of the Causeway Coast Route and so is only 40 minutes to the Giant's Causeway.

The Titanic Museum is only a ten minute drive, bus or train and Belfast's famous Harland and Wolff cranes can be seen from the bedroom and kitchen window, the property is that close to Belfast.
